Bob Sulentic has been President & Chief Executive Officer of CBRE Group, Inc. since December 2012. CBRE is the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, with 2017 revenues of $14.2 billion and more than 80,000 employees (excluding affiliate offices) serving clients in more than 100 countries. CBRE is ranked #207 in the Fortune 500, and has been named a Fortune Most Admired Company in the real estate sector for six consecutive years.

Prior to becoming CEO, Mr. Sulentic served as President of CBRE, with responsibility for all business segments. In addition, he served as the company's Chief Financial Officer in 2009, during the depth of the global financial crisis. Earlier, Mr. Sulentic served as Group President for CBRE’s EMEA, Asia Pacific, and Development Services businesses.

Mr. Sulentic began his real estate career with Trammell Crow Company in 1984 as an Industrial Leasing Agent in Houston, Texas. Throughout the next 23 years he served in various leadership positions, including Project Partner, Divisional Partner, Managing Director and CFO. Mr. Sulentic was elected President and CEO of Trammell Crow Company in October 2000, and he became Chairman of the Board in April 2002. He served in those roles when Trammell Crow Company merged with CBRE in late 2006.

Mr. Sulentic is a member of the CBRE Group, Inc. Board of Directors and its Global Operating Committee. He also served as the independent Chairman of the Board of Staples, Inc. until its acquisition by Sycamore Partners, a private equity firm, in September 2017.

Mr. Sulentic received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Computer Science from Iowa State University. Mr. Sulentic founded and chairs a private foundation that supports various charitable endeavors by providing direct grants to third-party organizations as well as executing its own initiatives.

Dara A. Bazzano, Senior Vice President, Global Finance and Chief Accounting Officer

Dara Bazzano was appointed CBRE’s Chief Accounting Officer in May 2018. In this role, she leads CBRE’s finance operations globally and has responsibility for all internal and external financial reporting.

Prior to joining CBRE, Ms. Bazzano had previously served as Global Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at The Gap, Inc., where she led all aspects of the company’s accounting, global shared services and control functions. She also had oversight for The Gap’s Sarbanes Oxley and supply chain compliance efforts.

Earlier Ms. Bazzano was an Assurance Partner at PwC and KPMG, where she held numerous roles over 13 years, including serving as a technical leader in the national office of KPMG. She also served as the West Coast Chairperson of KPMG’s Network of Women.

Chandra Dhandapani, Chief Digital & Technology Officer

As Chief Digital & Technology Officer, Ms. Dhandapani is CBRE’s most-senior global technology leader, with responsibility for all aspects of the company’s technology and digital enablement, including those serving clients and CBRE professionals.

Ms. Dhandapani has a proven record of developing and executing enterprise-level digital strategies that support business objectives, improve client outcomes and drive growth. Prior to joining CBRE, she was a senior technology executive at Capital One Financial for 17 years. Jack Durburg, Global CEO, Global Workplace Solutions

Jack Durburg is Global Chief Executive Officer of CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) business, a global, integrated, full-service real estate outsourcing business serving the world’s largest real estate occupiers. GWS employs more than 50,000 people globally, serves clients in more than 100 countries, and produced more than $12 billion of revenue in 2018.

As Global CEO of GWS, Mr. Durburg oversees the delivery of all services to GWS clients, including facilities management, advisory and transaction services, project management, and management consulting. Mr. Durburg serves as a member of the company’s Executive Committee, Global Operating Committee and Foundation Board, and Co-Chairs the Executive Inclusion Council. 

Prior to assuming this role in January 2020, Mr. Durburg was CBRE’s Global Chief Operating Officer and had broad responsibility and authority across the entire company for service line excellence, operating efficiencies and its Global Client Care program. He provided leadership for Advisory & Transaction Services, Capital Markets, Property Management, Valuation Services and Project Management. James R. Groch, Chief Investment Officer

Jim Groch serves as Global Group President & Chief Investment Officer, responsible for investment of the company’s capital, including directly leading mergers and acquisitions and allocating principal investments in real estate.

Mr. Groch began his career with Trammell Crow Company (“TCC”) in 1985 as an office leasing agent and led the Central/ Eastern Region in signed leases in his first full year. In 1988, at the age of 26, he became the company’s youngest Partner. From 1991 through 1997, Mr. Groch held operating leadership roles including Managing Director, Trammell Crow Northeast, Inc. and President of Development and Investment for the Eastern U.S. In 1998, he became Chief Investment Officer of TCC, and later assumed the additional roles of President of Funds and Investment Management and Director of Corporate Finance.

In December of 2006, Mr. Groch negotiated the $2 billion cash sale of Trammell Crow Company to CBRE, and later became a member of CBRE’s Global Executive Board.

In February 2009 (until March 2014), Mr. Groch was named Global Chief Investment Officer and EVP of Corporate Finance and Strategy taking direct responsibility for CBRE’s capital structure and balance sheet. Among other responsibilities, including continuing as TCC’s CIO, he led all equity offerings, bond issuances and lender negotiations for CBRE during and following the financial crisis.

In February 2014 (through May 2019) he became the company’s Chief Financial Officer while continuing to serve as CBRE’s Chief Investment Officer and Head of Corporate Development. As Chief Financial Officer, he had firm-wide responsibility for accounting and finance, treasury, financial planning & analysis, business intelligence and investor relations. During this period, adjusted EPS increased two and a half times and CBRE moved from a High Yield to an Investment Grade (Baa1) company while completing transformational acquisitions.

Mr. Groch’s accomplishments include leading: new aligned capital, incentive and risk mitigation structures for TCC’s development business; three opportunistic share repurchases including a Dutch auction in 2004 at $15.75 per share (TCC) before negotiating the sale of the company two years later for $50 per share; the development of two SaaS software platforms, extensive balance sheet activities with first time innovations during and following the global financial crisis of 2009; and the acquisition of over 120 companies.

Laurence H. Midler is Executive Vice President and General Counsel for CBRE.
