Group Health Cooperative and CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc.Receive Outsourcing Excellence Award

April 30, 2010

LOS ANGELES, Apr 30, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. (NYSE:CBG) today announced that the Outsourcing Center, a highly regarded source of information about outsourcing, has selected Group Health Cooperative (GHC) and CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) to receive a 2010 Outsourcing Excellence Award.

These awards, now in their 14th year, annually recognize the world's best outsourcing collaborations across all industries. These collaborations demonstrate best practices, create and sustain competitive advantage, provide business transformation, achieve value, and benefit both buyer and service provider.

CBRE was the only commercial real estate services provider among the seven client/provider collaborations recognized by the Outsourcing Center this year. Other winners were Talecris Biotherapeutics/Siemens IT Solutions and Services; BP/IBM; PNC Bank/Océ Business Services; Centegra Health Systems/Dell Services; Grupo Posadas/Oracle On Demand; and Oklahoma Dept. of Human Services/ACS, a Xerox Company.

The GHC/CBRE nomination received the "Most Flexible" Award. GHC and CBRE were honored for establishing a successful full-service outsourcing partnership that delivers exceptional value for the full spectrum of healthcare service requirements, and for continuously improving upon the model over the course of a 12 year relationship. At the time the GHC/CBRE collaboration was established there was limited outsourcing of business functions in healthcare. The outsourcing initiative created an innovative and flexible system that enabled GHC, with more than 3 million sq. ft. of facilities in almost 50 locations, to focus on delivering healthcare, not managing real estate.

"This award is recognition of the value that has been created for patients as Group Health continued to focus on delivering high quality coverage and care and our CBRE colleagues provided the expertise to optimize the physical environment," said Bill Biggs, Executive Director of Administrative Services at Group Health. "Healthcare faces enormous challenges and the fresh business model CBRE and Group Health have evolved, and continuously improve, can be part of the solution. The capability to nimbly and effectively respond to today's fast changing environment is essential."

"This award is testament to the hard work and innovative collaboration by a great team of first rate professionals at GHC and CBRE," said Bill Concannon, President, Global Corporate Services, CB Richard Ellis. "This honor underscores the powerful practice CBRE has built in healthcare, which combines specific health sector expertise with the industry's most comprehensive real estate services platform."
